January 5, 2009The 2009 AndysYou saw what I read in 2008. Which books are awarded the 2009 Andys from this list? The winners are: Books I Most Enjoyed Reading a Second Time Best Portrait of the United States in Microcosm Most Underlined and Marked Up Best Book About Chicago Book That Best Fulfilled an Unintended Purpose Book I Blogged On the Most Most Unexpectedly Melancholic Book Most Sensational Title That Actually Fulfilled Its Hype Most Flippant Book About a Serious Topic Most of my reading, of course, comes at the recommendation of others. If you'd like to suggest books for consideration for the 2010 Andys, I'd be glad to hear of them. Posted by Andy Le Peau

Thanks, Andy! I'm going to put some of these on my 2009 reading list. Comment by: Laura Bartlett at January 6, 2009 11:52 AMhow can I find the Bible(book) Comment by: clément at January 8, 2009 4:19 AMHello Clement You can find the whole Bible online in several different translations at BibleGateway.com. You can buy print editions of the Bible at Amazon.com. You can find both links on the right hand side of the AndyUnedited home page. Andy Comment by: Andy Le Peau at January 10, 2009 12:28 PMThanks, Andy. Interestingly constructed, useful list. I too rarely read a book twice. Peace Like a River, one I finished a few weeks ago, sets on my shelf, ready to be read again. A book you may enjoy but not put on your list (the author uses "love" way too much) is Dewey, the true story of a library cat in Spencer, Iowa.
